Madden's Last Day of School

I can not believe the school year is already over...time flies when you're having fun! We went to Madden's end of the year school music performance and I could tell Madden was very sad it was his last day. The teacher said he was sad all day long. It's hard for a two year old to grasp the end of something but I could tell he knew something was up!! After his little music class, we all went back to his room for ice cream which really cheered him up. Baby B had a blast listening to all the songs and then playing in Madden's classroom...I think she's ready for school!!! We are excited to have some playdates with his school buddies this summer and of course time at the pool.

March Madness and April Showers!!

March was a crazy month with lots of fun activities!! We went on our first beach trip to St. Simon's with Jenny and Heather!! It was a blast and Madden especially had fun with Heather's two girls, Jackie and Riley!! Mimi came along to help out which was great because Madden and I could get out and about and have some fun at the beach!! All in all it was a great trip and we are excited about our beach trips this summer.
We had a wonderful Easter this year and it was nice because the weather was beautiful. We kicked off the celebration by going to the Easter Egg Hunt at Madden's school. Because of the rain, they had the hunt in their classroom which was a lot of fun. Baby B had fun chewing on the plastic eggs!!! The Saturday before Easter we headed over to the annual Capital City Club Egg Hunt and then to the Traynor's for some yummy food and drinks. We had a wonderful time as always!! Easter Sunday the Easter bunny hid Easter baskets for the kids filled with lots of candy and movies. We went to the early service at church to beat the crowd and then invited some neighbors over for an Easter Egg hunt in our yard!! It was a great time had by all!! Madden also went to the Fernbank Center with his little friend Adeline. They had a great time looking at all the dinosaurs!!

February Fun!!

We had a busy March...Erik and I went to Miami for a couple of days and Nana P came in town to help take care of the kiddos. Nana P. hung out and became the best of friends (Hanson even cried when we came home because she missed Nana P. so much!!). Poor Madden came down with croup the day we left so Mimi was an angel and took care of him while we were gone. All in all we had a great trip but we were ready to get home to our little angels!! It finally Snowed in March!! We had our first snow blizzard on March 1st which was so much fun!! Madden and his friends in the neighborhood had fun making snowballs and playing in the snow. It didn't last long but sure was fun while it lasted!!

New Year

We have had a wonderful start to the new year!! Madden is talking more than ever and it never ceases to amaze me all that comes out of his little mouth!! He is so funny and has me laughing 90% of the time. He continues to love school and his teachers which has been a huge answer to prayer. Baby B is smiley as always. She is sitting all by herself and loves to play with her big brother...it is fun to watch her grow and develop and learn something new every day!! She has started a full schedule of eating solids and LOVES just about everything except rice cereal (but who would...too boring!!). She is a complete mess and loves spitting out her food and splashing her water cup!!
