We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. Both sides of the family came together for a wonderful week filled with lots of love and fun. Christmas Eve everyone came over to our house and we went to the 5:00 church service at Church of the Apostles. We all came back to our house for a yummy dinner and champagne spritzers. Madden had a blast hanging out with everyone and goofing around with Papa Berg and Auntie HB!! That night Santa made a visit and ate all the cookies and drank all the milk Madden had left for him the night before!! We spent the first part of the morning as a family and Madden was so excited that Santa had brought him Thomas the Train Table!! He literally did not want to open any other presents or even eat because he just wanted to play with his trains all day long!!! Everyone came over around 9am for breakfast, champagne and gift opening. That evening after some much needed naps we all went over to Papa's and Mimi's for Christmas dinner and more gift opening!! The following day Erik and I had planned for a photographer and good friend to come to the house to take pictures of the entire family (our christmas gift to everyone!!). We had such a wonderful time laughing, smiling and being with one another...the true meaning of Christmas!! What a special year this was to have everyone come together to celebrate the birth of our Lord!!

Hanson's Dedication

Hanson was dedicated at church on Sunday morning!! She looked so beautiful in her Christening gown and was a perfect angel up on stage. Her big brother stood by her side and did so good in front of all the people!! We were excited to commit our lives to raising her in a Christian home and teaching her about the love of Christ!! Afterwards, we went out to Houston's for lunch with Papa and Mimi...she slept the whole time!!!
